questions
how do i fly
On a phone, use the on-screen buttons to thrust, steer and slow down. On a computer, use the arrow keys or WASD. The first level shows the controls in the background, and the tutorial walks you through your first flight.
how do i share a level with a friend
Build a level with Edit Level and press SAVE. Then open Saved Levels and press SHARE on that level. A level code (it starts with DRLVL1-) is copied, so paste it to your friend in any chat app.
Your friend opens Saved Levels, presses IMPORT CODE, then PASTE and IMPORT.
my level code doesn't work
Make sure the whole code was copied. Some chat apps cut long messages or add spaces and line breaks. Spaces and line breaks are fine, but a missing piece isn't. Try sending it as a file or a note if your chat app shortens it.
where are my rockets and levels saved
Only on your device, inside the game's private storage. They aren't uploaded anywhere, so they won't move to a new phone automatically. To move a level, share it as a level code and import it on the other device.
i lost my progress
Progress is deleted if the game is uninstalled or its storage is cleared (some phone "cleaner" apps do this). Because nothing is stored online, we can't restore it. Sorry! Level codes are a good way to back up levels you're proud of.
does the game need internet
No. Doodle Rocket works fully offline, with no ads and no accounts.
how do i delete my data
See Delete your data.
the mac version won't open
The first time, right-click the game in Applications and choose Open, then Open again. If macOS says it's damaged, open Terminal and run xattr -cr /Applications/DOODLEROCKET.app, then try again.
