privacy policy
the short version
- Doodle Rocket does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal data.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The game works fully offline.
- Everything you make (rockets, levels, ghost runs, settings) is saved only on your own device.
- Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage, deletes all of it.
This Privacy Policy explains how Axody ("we", "us") handles information in the Doodle Rocket game (the "App") on Android and other platforms, and on this website. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no online features that send your information to us or to anyone else. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos or device identifiers.
2. Information saved on your device
To make the game work, the App saves the following locally on your device only. We never receive a copy of it.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Rockets you draw, their parts and stickers | So you can keep and reuse your rockets (the hangar) |
| Levels you build and levels you save or import | The level editor and Saved Levels |
| Ghost runs, with the nickname you type after winning a level | Racing against earlier runs on the same device |
| Progress, best times, unlocked stickers and tutorial status | Remembering how far you've got |
| Settings (sound volumes and similar) | Remembering your preferences |
The ghost nickname can be anything; you don't need to use your real name. It is only shown inside the game on the same device.
3. Level codes and the clipboard
When you press Share on a saved level, the App turns that level into a text code and copies it to your device's clipboard, so you can paste it wherever you like. When you press Paste on the import screen, the App reads the clipboard to fill in the code. The App only touches the clipboard when you press these buttons. A level code contains the level layout and the level's name, nothing else. Whoever you send a code to can see that level and its name.
4. Permissions
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files on Android. It uses the internet for nothing and sends no data.
5. Third-party services
The App is made with the Unity game engine. Unity's analytics, ads, crash reporting and cloud services are turned off in the App, and no advertising or analytics SDKs are included.
When you download the App from Google Play, Google processes information according to Google's Privacy Policy. Google may give developers aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as install counts) and, if you've chosen to share usage and diagnostics with app developers in your Android settings, anonymous crash reports. These don't identify you to us.
6. Children
Doodle Rocket is suitable for players of all ages. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The App has no chat, no ads, no purchases and no way to contact other players. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because your data only exists on your device, you're fully in control of it. You can delete things one at a time inside the game (the trash button on saved levels and rockets), or delete everything by uninstalling the App or using Settings → Apps → Doodle Rocket → Storage → Clear storage. See Delete your data for step-by-step help. We hold no copy, so there's nothing for us to delete on our side.
8. Security
Your game data is stored in the App's private storage, which other apps can't normally read. No data is sent over a network, so none can be intercepted.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we don't hold any personal data about players, there is normally nothing to provide, but you're always welcome to ask us.
10. This website
This website has no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts or fonts. Like any web server, the hosting provider may briefly keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use them to identify visitors.
11. Changes to this policy
If the App ever changes how it handles data (for example by adding online features), we'll update this policy and the effective date above before that change is released, and update the App's Google Play data-safety information to match.
